During your 15-minute virtual consultation, a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy will:
Listen carefully to your symptoms and health history.
Ask focused questions to help clarify your concerns.
Provide education about the vestibular system and common causes of dizziness or balance issues.
Offer general guidance on next steps, including whether in-person vestibular therapy, medical evaluation, or self-care strategies may be most appropriate.
When applicable, assist in helping you locate qualified providers or vestibular specialists closer to your area.
This session provides screening, education, and help determining next-steps. The therapist cannot perform assessments, prescribe exercises specific to your condition, or render a diagnosis. However, you will receive professional guidance, and actionable next steps to help you move forward confidently.
Individualized care begins with a formal evaluation. If you are experiencing new-onset continuous vertigo (lasting hours or days), double vision, headache, weakness, sudden hearing loss, or difficulty walking, please seek medical attention from a physician immediately.
